Full and Refresher Courses

 

Full course:  3 hours face to face training & assessment $60.00 (GST Free)
Refresher:   2 hours face to face training & assessment  $45.00 (GST Free)

Price includes professional instruction, all course materials and certification.

The course covers

This course delivers the essential principles, knowledge and skills needed to maintain breathing and circulation of adults, children and infants during emergency situations.

• Casualty assessment
• Emergency action principles - DRABCD
• External cardiac compression (CPR)
• Recovery position

Pre-requisites

The minimum age is 10 years of age.

Nil for Full CPR Course. For participants undertaking the CPR Refresher Course, a copy of a current or recently expired CPR certificate is required.

Accreditation

Upon successful completion of the training, participants will obtain a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment and SLSNT Resuscitation Certificate in the following units of competence:

• HLTCPR201A Perform CPR

Validity

CPR certificate is valid for 12 months, as per The Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.
