First Aid, CPR and Advanced Lifesaving Skills
Surf Life Saving Northern Territory operates under an auspice agreement with Surf Lifesaving South Australia RTO (40110), and has been delivering accredited training in First Aid, CPR and advanced lifesaving since 2007. We pride ourselves on making sure our courses are fun, interactive and enjoyable for all.
Why not learn First Aid and CPR from lifesaving experts? We are able to conduct training on site, at your workplace – all we need is access to a training room. Our training can be tailored to suit your schedule and staffing requirements.
All courses are delivered under the Australian Quality Training Framework and are Nationally Accredited (Registered Training Organisation number 40110).

Provide First Aid (HLTAID003)
By participants completing an online module first, SLSNT can reduce the practical training to one day. This practical training can be run for 8-30 people and at a time or location convenient for your organisation.
At completion of our first aid training all participants receive the following units of competency:
- HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID002 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
- HLTAID003 Provide First Aid

Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
At completion of our CPR training all participants receive the following units of competency:
- HLTAID001 Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
Advanced Resuscitation Technique
After successfully completing our ART training, all participants receive the following units of competency:
- HLTAID007 Provide Advanced Resuscitation
Completion of the iconic SLS Bronze Medallion, also gives participants a nationally recognised Certificate II in Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue). The Bronze Medallion course can be tailored for delivery to a school group over a series of week.
Surf Rescue Certificate
The Surf Rescue Certificate is a flexible course traditionally offered by Surf Life Saving Clubs to their junior lifesavers, but can also be tailored for delivery to a school group.
These programs are a great introduction to Surf Life Saving and can help you get involved in our amazing national organisation.
Offers participants aged 13 years and above an introduction to surf sports by teaching participants how to use rescue boards and plastic surf skis in a fun and safe environment.
Surf 'n Save Lives
Designed for the Darwin Wave Lagoon, this program gives youth the chance to experience some great surfing fun while providing the awareness and basic skills to save a life. The program can be run in 3 hours or over a series of weeks.
