The SLSNT Board is very aware of the impact COVID-19 has had on our surf clubs and our members, and in response has endorsed a one-off COVID - 19 Club Support Package. The package aims to help our clubs and members return to normal as quickly as possible so they can focus on providing a quality lifesaving service to the community.
The Support Package covers a number of areas of our organisation and is valid from 1 June to 31 December 2020.
SLSNT will restock up to three (3) SLS first aid kits per club at our cost. Clubs are asked to provide their first aid kits to SLSNT and we will arrange for them to be restocked to the required levels at our cost. If clubs have out of date defibrillator pads SLSNT will also replace these - clubs will need to provide the out of date pads so we can be sure to get the right replacement part.
The cost for replacement defibrillator batteries or servicing of first aid equipment (defibrillator/regulator) will not be covered but can be discussed on an individual basis.
For more information, or to arrange restocking please contact Ella Tilling (firstname.lastname@example.org).
All core lifesaving qualifications (of members active in 2019) will be extended until 31 December 2020 provided the appropriate online training is completed. Read more...

The practical assessment will need to be completed at a later date and SLSNT will work with members to plan a suitable date.
SLSNT is working out how we change the payment method in the SLS Members Portal. So, can any interested members contact Ella Tilling (firstname.lastname@example.org). Ella will be able to manually allocate the Award to the member and make sure payment is made.
SLSNT will provide each surf club a one-off cash injection to help offset the loss of income realised as a result of COVID-19. Clubs will not be asked to provide an acquittal for these funds, the club is welcome to spend the funds on what they believe will benefit the club and their members.
