What we do and why it matters

Surf Life Saving NT is a volunteer, not-for-profit organisation and the peak agency for coastal safety in the Northern Territory.

Our movement is the largest volunteer organisation of its kind in Australia. We create a safer environment in, on and around the coastal line and waterways through patrols and education and training programs. 

From our three affiliated clubs in Darwin and Gove to our 24/7 Marine Search & Rescue team, our members show up for the community, season after season.
