NT Awards of Excellence

Celebrating outstanding contribution

The Surf Life Saving NT Awards of Excellence recognise and reward members who have made an outstanding contribution to the delivery and development of surf lifesaving activities in the Northern Territory each calendar year.



These awards celebrate the people, clubs and programs that strengthen surf lifesaving across the Territory, from lifesaving and education through to surf sports, leadership, administration and volunteering.

About the awards

Each year, Surf Life Saving NT calls for nominations from members and clubs through an official circular.


The awards provide an opportunity to acknowledge members who have gone above and beyond in their service to surf lifesaving and the wider community.

National recognition

A number of SLSNT award winners may go on to represent the Northern Territory at the annual Surf Life Saving Australia Awards of Excellence.


This provides Territory members with the opportunity to be recognised at a national level for their contribution to surf lifesaving.

Clubs and members are encouraged to look out for nomination information each year. Details about categories, eligibility, dates and submission requirements are provided when nominations open.
