Lifeguard Services

About the Australian Lifeguard Service

Surf Life Saving NT delivers professional lifeguard services across the Top End as a member of the Australian Lifeguard Service (ALS) —  a national network operating across more than 200 beaches and aquatic venues throughout Australia.

The ALS is one of the largest providers of paid lifeguard services in the southern hemisphere, partnering with more than 65 local government authorities and land managers nationally. With over 30 years of experience in aquatic safety, the ALS sets the standard for lifeguard training, operations, and public safety.

As an ALS member, SLSNT brings that national expertise and infrastructure to the Northern Territory —  delivering skilled, professional lifeguard services at aquatic venues across the Top End.
