Established in 1971, Gove Peninsula Surf Lifesaving Club (GPSLSC) was the first Surf Life Saving Club formed in the NT. GPSLSC is located on Town Beach in the North East Arnhem mining town of Nhulunbuy.
GPSLSC takes pride in being a key part of the Nhulunbuy community, providing lifesaving services on local beaches and activities for junior members. The natural beauty of the club location together with club facilities provide an ideal backdrop for member families to enjoy.
The surf club bar is open on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons during the dry season. The club grounds overlook the Arafura sea. The club is also available for private functions for club members and their guests.
