Surf Life Saving Northern Territory delivers training and assessment under a third-party agreement with Surf Life Saving South Australia Inc (RTO Code: 40110). We have been providing first aid training to individuals and organisations in the NT since 2007.
Many of our First Aid and CPR courses are available as face-to-face sessions or with eLearning options for those that prefer to complete the theory component in their own time. Most courses require a practical assessment completed in person.

HLTAID011 Provide First AidHLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life supportHLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitationSurf Life Saving Northern Territory delivers training and assessment under a third-party agreement with Surf Life Saving South Australia Inc (RTO Code: 40110). $190.00 per personThe HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course aims to develop the knowledge and skills for a person to manage emergency first aid situations and deliver competent emergency care until the arrival of professional medical support. Participants have the choice to complete this course by either attending a full day face to face training and assessment session or completing online learning (eLearning) before attending a shorter face to face session. On successful completion of this course, you will receive a nationally recognised training statement of attainment for HLTAID011 Provide First Aid, HLTAID010 Provide base emergency life support & HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation. First aiders should attend training on a regular basis to refresh their first aid knowledge and skills and to confirm their competence to provide first aid. Refresher training in first aid qualifications should be renewed every three years (First Aid in the workplace - Code of Practice, p.18) |

It will equip you with an understanding of to apply basic emergency life support for adults, children and infants until professional medical support arrives. Upon completing this course, you will receive a nationally recognised training statement of attainment for HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation. First aiders should attend training on a regular basis to refresh their first aid knowledge and skills and to confirm their competence to provide CPR. Refresher training in CPR should be carried out annually (First Aid in the workplace - Code of Practice, p.18) |

HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapySurf Life Saving Northern Territory delivers training and assessment under a third-party agreement with Surf Life Saving South Australia Inc (RTO Code: 40110). $200.00 per personThis course teaches participants to develop skills and knowledge to manage life-threatening external bleeding, use oxygen, airway management devices and automated external defibrillators during resuscitation, and to administer oxygen to conscious or unconscious victims. Upon completing this course, you will receive a nationally recognised training statement of attainment for HLTAID0015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy. First aiders should attend training on a regular basis to refresh their first aid knowledge and skills and to confirm their competence to provide advanced CPR.
