We provide training for pool lifeguards throughout the Top End, teaching participants practical skills and equipping them with the knowledge to keep patrons safe. Surf Life Saving NT's strong and experienced team has been delivering industry-leading pool lifeguard training courses for the past seven years.
Our nationally recognised SISSS00133 Pool Lifeguard course is for people who have responsibility for the supervision and safety of people in and around swimming pools including those involved in aquatic exercise‚ swim coaching and aquatic excursions.
To participate in this course, you must be over 16 years of age and have completed HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid.
Once you have successfully completed our training, you will be issued a statement of attainment with the following units of competency:

Surf Life Saving Northern Territory delivers training and assessment under a third-party agreement with Surf Life Saving South Australia Inc (RTO Code: 40110).
Industry guidelines recommend your qualification be updated annually.
